Have you always wanted to build with stone but were not sure how to begin? The Schoharie River Center, announces two upcoming “building with stone” workshops, to take place on Sunday, September 29 from noon until 2:00 and Saturday, October 19 from noon until 3:00. In these hands-on workshops with skilled artist and mason, Mark Swanberry, you’ll learn the mechanics and techniques of working with stone.
The workshop on September 29th is dedicated to dry wall stone construction, including the making of a laid-up stone wall.
